Outreach Ministry

[ V i s i o n ]

Our sole vision as Christians is to see God glorified in the hearts and minds of all people across this campus, city, nation, and world. As such, KCCE Outreach Ministry seeks to mobilize every Christian to actively reach out and be the Salt & Light of the Earth. Our ministry provides support through prayer, logistics, encouragement, and organization of events and activities through which every brother and sister can easily have an opportunity to start reaching out as a body, with compassion and love.

The following is a list of service opportunities that you can participate in! There is a short description of each. Let us know if you're interested!

reconstruction home: Min Moon (mjm278@cornell.edu)

The Reconstruction Home is medical rehabilitation facility where many of the residents have some disabilities, such as Alzheimer's, that require their stay at the home; some are coherent and active people, while others cannot communicate clearly or get around easily. However, all are in need of human contact, love and encouragement; even a short visit can make their day. We go once a week as a group and spend some time with these elder brothers and sisters.

Meet on Friday 4:30PM @ Anabel Taylor Parking Lot

loaves & fishes: Esther Pak (ep85@cornell.edu)

Loaves & Fishes, local soup kitchen, will be another outreach opportunity in need of servants. More so than physical nourishment, these people need to be spiritually fed as well. We will be offering our services in various ways, whether it will be by helping with food preparation, serving meals, cleaning up, visiting and evangelizing, or praying for the guests.
